Dated to 1937, The Knoll is a white brick farm house surrounded by 40+ acres of rolling hills, open fields and hardwood forest. The property is seated in Historic Hurley, which is characterized by old stone houses along its lovely main street, located just 5 miles from Kingston. As the home is surrounded by towering pine trees, many of which line the long narrow driveway, the location provided the Rockefeller Center
Christmas tree in 1963. There are stunning views of the Catskill mountains, a babbling brook and a stone foundation, contributing to the many scenes the property offers. The afternoon golden light casts long shadows across the front and side lawns, emulating the local historic paintings of Winslow Homer. Throughout the year, the fields accommodate roaring bon fires of various sizes (some reaching 25ft tall), a whole host of wild animals, along with local children sleigh riding on the back hill of the home while adults cross country ski across the top field. The location has hosted many photo opportunities as well as numerous weddings. The Knoll residence is available for exterior use and grounds settings.
